The Watershed's Bourbon-berry

BarLOG have been busy designing drinks for the new bar, Watershed, in Bishop's Stortford. Here is one of the new drinks for you to make at home - we think it is pretty good!  Well, the BarLOG guinea pigs, David and Lynsey, loved it.  However, they had been through a bottle of Woodford Reserve in an hour as we honed in on the final recipe and who is going to complain about free drinks?

'Bourbon-berry' (pictured above)

6 Blackberries (or 8-10 raspberries)
15ml cherry brandy
15ml Chambord
20ml lime juice
30ml woodford reserve
10ml gomme

Muddle blackberries with gomme then shake all ingredients hard,
Serve in a rocks glass over crushed ice
Garnish with fresh crushed ice and a icing powder covered blackberry (if you like your drinks sour lower or just leave the gomme).

Six signature drinks have been created. Here are some photos from last weeks shoot. The bar is open from 28th November. It was a week of very late nights doing the photography and tweaking recipes. BarLOG will be pleased to take a rest and get back to reviewing bars and sampling London's new autumn/winter menu's.
